Rasheeda Buckner, better known by her stage name Rasheeda is a female Hip Hop Artist and Singer. Rasheeda was a member of the teenage Hip-Hop trio Da Kaperz until 2000 when she launched her solo career with Motown, Rasheeda released her debut album "Dirty South" in October 2000. Dirty South features collaborations with Kurupt, Kool Ace, and chart-topping rapper Nelly. Her fifth album, Certified Hot Chick was released in 2009. She is also part of the R&B/Hip-Hop duo Peach Candy with R&B singer/songwriter Kandi Burruss. Rasheeda has worked with Jeezy, Nelly, Jazzy Fade, Pastor Troy, Ying Yang Twins .Rasheeda rose to fame with the success of her hit single "My Bubblegum," which is her biggest record to date and was the platinum ring tone on the number one box office smash, Paul Blart Mall Cop.

Through her Boss Bitch Music Mixtape Series, Volume 1-­‐4, Rasheeda has amassed a large following throughout the southeast region and worldwide via her Internet fan base. In 2010, Rasheeda won Mixtape Artist of the Year (Female) at the Southern Entertainment Awards and she was the first independent female artist nominated for a BET award for Female Hip Hop Artist of the year.
